The population is highly education, with almost 93 percent of adult residents having completed at least some college. Industries in which most residents work include professional, scientific and technical services, education, finance and insurance. The most common job titles include executives, doctors and those in sales positions.
The nearest hospitals are just four miles away, with one in Richmond Heights and several in St. Louis. Retail choices can be found at theLadue West Shopping Center, and there are 34 movie theaters in a 15-mile radius, 120 public golf courses in and seven museums in a 30-mile radius and one ski resort.
